Brecon Cathedral and Bangor University’s Institute for the Study of Welsh Estates are pleased to announce details of a two-day conference to explore reading, collectors, libraries, and books in Wales.
Hosted within the grounds of Brecon Cathedral, in the beautiful Brecon Beacons, the conference will include a public lecture by Dr David Pearson, a public panel session, and a series of exciting talks on a wide range of aspects relating to books and reading in Wales.

The conference fee is £45 per person. This includes a lunch on both days, and tea/coffee and Welsh cakes in breaks between sessions. Please let us know when booking if you have any dietary or access requirements. There will be a conference dinner on the evening of 24th April in the Cathedral itself. This will cost an additional £22 and should be booked via the online booking system.
